"Dear Anna :

Just a brief note to thank you for making our time in Istanbul such a wonderful experience.  We enjoyed immensely both you as a person and you as a guide.  It made the whole experience very enjoyable and very informative.  We would love to come back again and have you show us more!  I think we shall!!   In the meantime I hope we can consider you as a friend for life.   Very warm wishes," (May18 2000)

"Turkey is great! But it seems good to get back home to Casper, Wyoming. We no only enjoyed our day together with you but our whole Turkey experience. What a great country. After leaving you, we traveled to Cappadocia and along the coast. During the course of these later travels we met Mike Belton who is a Brit living in Turkey at Bodrum and/or Kas. Mike puts together tours. We gave him your name as someone who could possibly help him with Istanbul group tours. So if you hear from him we gave him your name and address. Hope all is going well with you." (May19 2000)

"Thank you very much for taking me and my co-workers around on Saturday.  We all had fun and learned a lot.  I think everybody's favorite stop was the little church with the mosaics.  I am so glad you took us there. I was curious if you are booked on Saturday?  During the day most of my team is going to go play golf and I simply can't imagine golfing when I can do that at home.  I have not done any research on additional places to go in the area yet. You may have ideas on this, too.  I am not sure if a day trip to one of the islands or something might work, but am interested. Also, for going out for fun, I could make plans this Friday or Saturday if that worked for you.  I may have time next week, but my Dad will be here which might change things a bit. :-) Thanks, again. Jennifer." (June 04 2000)

"Just a note to tell you that I made it back to Boston in one piece. I hope that the last few days of high temperatures in Istanbul have not been too bad for you. The temperature got up to 91 F here today but didn't seem that hot. I guess I've been well trained in Turkey. It was good that I left for the airport early because I had a chance to see Istanbul with almost no cars. I couldn't believe the difference! My Taxi driver was very funny too, he spoke enough English so that we could joke about public holidays and taxes. I want you to know how much I enjoyed your company over the last few days. I mean that as a friend. When Jennifer suggested that I use a guide (thinking of you of course) I could understand the value because I was sure that Istanbul was not an easy place to grasp and get around. But, I was a little reluctant though because I know that I am not always an easy person to be around. You can ask Jennifer. But you made a big difference and I appreciate that. I hope that you get a chance to visit the U. S. soon. However, before that I look forward to seeing you again in Turkey this September. By the way, I was wrong, Sultan Mehmet II did not enter the city through the Golden Gate but came in through the Adrianople Gate which I think is now known as the Edirne Kapi (i without the dot). I just like to correct things when I'm wrong. All my best, Louis Wojnaroski." (July 14 2000)
